His entrance to Jerusalem for the Passover

Robert Foster May 24, 2018

We might assume there was a general understanding about the role among the people of Jesus of Nazareth. We read that upon His entrance to Jerusalem for the Passover season he was met by an adoring crowd. But news of His activities could only reach people by second- or thirdhand reports. There were no newspapers, no daily TV newscasts. There were only rumors or gossips.

It is clear that some believed Jesus and believed in Him. Others did not. This puzzled Michael, a man who had experienced the work and love of the mysterious Jesus. For the rest of Michael’s life, he searched for answers. By the end of his life, he and his wife, Leah, were satisfied with their own answers.
